About Us
What we are: Project Indigo is a vibrant and inclusive art studio located in Westchester, dedicated to fostering creativity and empowering individuals of all ages and skill levels to unlock their artistic potential.
Our mission: At Project Indigo, we believe that everyone has an artist within waiting to be unlocked. Our mission is to provide a space where creativity can thrive and where everyone feels inspired and supported to explore, create, and innovate.
what we do: We offer a diverse range of classes and activities for children, including open-ended play, drawing, painting, and art history, designed to inspire and nurture creativity in all its forms. Our classes are designed to help them develop their skills, explore new materials, and discover their own unique expression.
For our adults, we understand that creativity is not just about technical skills, but also about having the opportunity to express oneself and bond with others. That's why we offer classes that are designed to not only inspire but also help you relax and connect with yourself and those around you. Our studio is a place where you can let your imagination run wild, meet new people, and find your creative community.
In addition to our classes, we provide opportunities for you to plan something special with your loved ones. Our little ones' classes are an excellent chance for parents and caregivers to participate and spend quality time with their children. If you're looking for a private session for a date, friend's night out, or some family time, we can make it happen!
At Project Indigo, we believe that art is more than just a skill - it's a way of life. Join us today and discover the joy of creating at Project Indigo.
Meet The Founder
Meet Jillian, a 28-year-old local artist who obtained her Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts as a painting major from SUNY Purchase in 2016. Jillian's passion for art has led her to showcase her work in various art shows and even donated a mural she collaborated on with artist Taylor Apple, featured at the Westchester Medical Center for Pediatric Cancer. Although painting is her primary form of expression, she enjoys exploring other mediums to expand her knowledge and hone her skills.
After completing her studies, Jillian started off as a homeschool art teacher, which eventually led to her teaching children from her home studio. Her passion for teaching and sharing her love of art drove her to open Project Indigo, a space where people can come together to explore their creativity.
Jillian has a strong desire to continuously learn and try new things. Her dedication to art is evident in everything she creates, and her passion for teaching has allowed her to inspire and encourage others to explore their creative sides.
